Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, melt the unsalted butter and allow it to cool slightly.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in the bowl with the melted butter.
Cooking
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.
- Fill each muffin liner about 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serving
- Once baked, remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the tin for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy!
Notes
For extra moist muffins, do not overmix the batter. Use room temperature ingredients for a better texture. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon for added flavor.
