Preparation
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions, drain, and set aside.

Cooking

- Incorporate the drained black beans, petite diced tomatoes, green chiles, sliced green onions, taco seasoning, and black pepper into the mixture.
- Fold in the cooked pasta, stirring to combine all ingredients well.
- Evenly sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over the skillet and add jalapeño slices if desired.
- Place the skillet under the preheated broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
Serving
- Remove from the broiler, garnish with reserved green onions and minced cilantro, and serve immediately.
Notes
