- Dip the chicken pieces into the beaten egg before coating them in flour, followed by the corn starch.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the coated chicken pieces to the skillet and cook for about 8 minutes, searing until golden brown and cooked through.
- Reduce the heat to medium, pour the prepared sauce over the chicken, and stir to combine. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove the skillet from the heat, add torn basil leaves, and stir until they wilt. Garnish with additional basil and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
