Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by mincing the garlic and grating the ginger.
  2. Chop the green onions and measure out all necessary ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until well-coated for a lovely crispy exterior when cooked.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the chicken to the hot oil and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Making the Sauce
  1. Pour the soy sauce and honey over the cooked chicken, then sprinkle in the red chili flakes if using. Stir well to combine.
  2. Allow the sauce to become a sticky glaze.
Cooking the Noodles
  1. In a separate pot, boil the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse them under cold water to keep them from sticking together.
Combining and Serving
  1. Once the noodles are cooked and drained, add them to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Toss everything together until the noodles are well-coated.
  2. Finish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
  3. Serve the Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles hot, garnished with additional green onions.
