Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together thoroughly.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gently stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and strawberries until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times.
- Roll or pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness, then cut it into rounds.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. They pair wonderfully with whipped cream or honey. Can also make a delicious brown sugar cinnamon butter for serving.
