Method
Preparation
- Start by chopping fresh strawberries and mix them into the yogurt, along with maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- Line a 9x13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper. Dollop the yogurt mixture onto the pan, keeping a round shape if possible.
- Place the prepared yogurt bites in the freezer for about 1 hour to firm them up.
Chocolate Coating
- While the yogurt bites chill, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave. Heat for about 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth.
- When ready, use a fork to lift each yogurt bite, dip it in the melted chocolate, and remove it quickly, one at a time. Immediately sprinkle with flaky salt before the chocolate sets.
- Repeat this process until all yogurt bites are coated, then return them to the freezer for an additional 30 minutes.
Serving
- Enjoy these bites frozen or let them thaw for a few minutes before savoring; both ways are absolutely delicious!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
