Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped Can substitute with zucchini or snap peas
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks Use fresh if available for better flavor
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Can replace with snap peas or green beans
  • 1 cup sweet and sour sauce Can use homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Any cooking oil works

Method

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add cubed chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add bell peppers, onion, broccoli, and pineapple to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  3. Pour in the sweet and sour sauce and stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
  4. Serve the sweet and sour chicken over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra crunch, add a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds on top before serving. Marinating chicken in the sweet and sour sauce for at least 30 minutes enhances flavors.
