  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced Ground ginger is a quick substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Olive oil can also work.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential seasonings.
  • as desired chopped green onions for garnish Consider cilantro if you’re feeling adventurous.
  • as desired sesame seeds for garnish For visual appeal.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the steak pieces to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated steak bites.
  2. Cook until the steak is caramelized on the outside and cooked to your desired doneness, about 3–5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Marinate for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor. Cook steak bites on medium heat to avoid burning. Let the steak rest after cooking for juiciness.
