Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
