Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil Essential for marinating; avocado oil can also work as a substitute.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Adds umami richness; consider soy sauce as an alternative if needed.
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder Gives an aromatic boost; fresh minced garlic can be used instead.
  • 1 tbsp onion powder Adds sweetness; minced onion can be a great alternative.
  • 1 tsp black pepper For seasoning; adjust to your taste preference.
  • 1 tsp salt Enhances the flavor; kosher salt is ideal.
  • 1/2 tsp paprika Provides a subtle smoky flavor; smoked paprika can enhance the taste further.
For the Steak
  • 1 lb sirloin steak Tender and flavorful; you can substitute with flank steak for a slightly different taste.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped For garnish; omit if desired for a simpler presentation.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika.
  2. Add the steak pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes for optimal flavor absorption.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add the marinated steak bites to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  3. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the desired doneness is reached.
  4. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

To avoid overcooking, it's better to slightly undercook than overcook the steak. Marinating is crucial for depth of flavor. Choose steak from a reputable source for best results.
