Preparation
- Pound the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a zip-lock bag and pound to an even 1/2-inch thickness.
- Prepare the Marinade: In the same zip-lock bag, mix all the ingredients, except for the chicken.
- Marinate: Add the chicken breasts to the bag and massage the marinade into the meat until evenly coated. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat the grill to high heat and oil the grates.
Cooking
- Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Serve: Transfer the grilled chicken to a platter and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider experimenting with different herbs such as rosemary or basil. Ensure the grill temperature is high enough for a perfectly grilled finish.
