Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients on a clean, clear counter.

  3. Chop the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces, keeping their juicy goodness intact.
  4. Drain the fresh mozzarella and cut it into similar bite-sized pieces to match the tomatoes.
  5. Finely mince the fresh basil leaves.
Assembly
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes and mozzarella pieces.
  2. Add in the minced basil, tossing gently to avoid breaking the mozzarella.
