Preparation
- In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
- Add 1/4 cup salt and 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning to the boiling water.
Cooking
- Carefully add the baby potatoes and cook for 10 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the corn and sausage, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and crab legs, cooking for 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and the crab is heated through.
- Remove from heat, squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon, and stir to combine.
- Drain the seafood and vegetables, then serve immediately on a large platter or newspaper for a casual presentation.
Notes
Serve with melted butter and lemon wedges on the side for dipping. Store leftover seafood boil in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
