- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until softened.

- Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese if desired.
Notes
For a creamier dish, add a dollop of sour cream before serving. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
