Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about ¾ inch thick.
Cooking
  1. For the grill option: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Brush with olive oil and cook each patty for 5–6 minutes per side, until fully cooked with an internal temperature of 165°F.
  2. For the oven option: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 18–20 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. Always ensure that the chicken burgers reach the safe internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Let them rest for a few minutes before serving on buns with your favorite toppings.
