  • 1 cup Sugar Sweeten to perfection

Method

Preparation

  2. Zest the lemons using a zester or fine grater to gather the flavorful yellow rind.
  3. Juice the lemons, ensuring to catch all the liquid without any seeds.
Cooking
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, and salt over medium heat.
  2. Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool before mixing in the lemon juice and zest.
Freezing and Serving
  1. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
  2. Every 30 minutes, stir the mixture with a fork to break up ice crystals for a smooth texture.
  3. Once firm, scoop into serving dishes to enjoy your refreshing sorbet.

Notes

For an extra creamy texture, consider blending the mixture before freezing. Store your sorbet in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Use fresh lemons for the best flavor; batch make and freeze in larger quantities.
